Hey there, I am Marley Gibson
Artist · Adventurer · Amputee · Advocate

The Short Version
I contain multitudes. And I would not have it any other way.
I am a multi-published author, developmental editor, mixed media artist, travel advisor, amputee advocate, and Savannah girl — doing all of it at once, on purpose, with a lot of coffee and zero apologies.
I have spent my career telling stories, helping others tell theirs, and chasing the next adventure — sometimes literally, on one leg and a whole lot of grit.
The Writing Life
35+ Books and Still Going
Best known for the Ghost Huntress YA paranormal series, I have also written contemporary romance, non-fiction, holiday collections, and the upcoming Fearless Over 50 — my love letter to every Gen X woman who is just now hitting her stride.
I also write under the pen name Kate Harmon and co-authored books with NYT bestseller Cecil Murphey and my husband Patrick Burns.

The Amputee Life
One Leg. Whole Life. Zero Apologies.
I became an amputee and it changed everything — and nothing. I still travel, create, write, advocate, and show up fully for my life. I share my journey openly because visibility matters and because someone out there needs to see that it is possible.
Meet Peg — my prosthetic leg, named with the full humor that this life deserves. She has been on boats, planes, cruise ships, Savannah squares, and probably a few haunted buildings.
Life with Patrick

My husband Patrick Burns is a paranormal investigator, author, and TV personality — yes, we are that house. We live in Savannah with our dog Peg (yes, two Pegs in this household) and we would not trade this weird, wonderful life for anything.
