About

Hey there, I’m Marley Gibson

Author. Editor. Ghost tour guide. Traveler. Artist. Amputee. Advocate. Savannah girl. And yes, I contain multitudes — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve spent my career doing what I love most: telling stories, helping others tell theirs, and chasing the next adventure (sometimes literally, on one leg and a whole lot of grit).

The Writing Life

I’m a multi-published author best known for my YA paranormal Ghost Huntress series, which follows a teenage girl who discovers she has psychic abilities — and promptly uses them to investigate hauntings all over small-town Georgia. I’ve also written Radiate, Christmas Spirit, and I’m currently building out the MaybeVerse, a speculative fiction universe that’s been living in my head for years and is finally clawing its way onto the page.

Writing chose me as much as I chose it. I’m a University of Alabama alum with a background in marketing and PR, which means I know how to craft a story and how to get it in front of the people who need to read it.

Savannah, Ghosts & Patrick Burns

I live in Savannah, Georgia — one of the most beautiful, complicated, and thoroughly haunted cities in America — with my partner Patrick Burns, paranormal investigator, author, and TV personality. We co-own ghost tours here, and yes, our dinner table conversations are exactly as interesting as you’re imagining.

Savannah has soaked into my bones. The moss-draped squares, the history that practically bleeds through the cobblestones, the stories on every corner — this city is endlessly inspiring and I can’t imagine calling anywhere else home.

Amplified Living

I’m a left-leg amputee, and my prosthetics have names. Peg handles the everyday adventures. Ethel Mermaid comes out when there’s water involved. They are both absolutely fabulous.

My Amplified Living brand is built on a simple truth: life doesn’t shrink when you face hard things. It expands. I believe in showing up fully, loudly, and with a sense of humor — because laughing is how we survive and thrive.

Let’s Connect

Whether you’re a reader, a writer looking for an editor, a fellow adventurer, or someone who just needs to know they’re not alone — I’m glad you’re here. Pull up a chair. Stay a while.
