The time is here! I have copies of my new book, the fourth in the GHOST HUNTRESS series, called, THE COUNSELING.
And what better way to celebrate a book launch than to have and awesome prize pack giveaway! If you’re ready to get your ghost hunt on and be just like Kendall and the gang, you need to be sure to enter the giveaway here. The prize pack is totally fun. First off…
You’ll get an autographed copy of THE COUNSELING…

Secondly, you’ll get a one-of-a-kind, handmade, ghost hunting blanket made by yours truly! You can see it here modeled by my furr niece, Lizzie. It is totally cat approved!

Third, I’ll throw in one of Kendall’s favorite ghost hunting tools…a rose quartz pendulum…

And fourth, you’ll get a copy of my book, THE OTHER SIDE: A TEEN’S GUIDE TO GHOST HUNTING AND THE PARANORMAL, co-written by Patrick Burns of Haunting Evidence and Dave Schrader of Darkness Radio. All three of us will autograph it for you.

WOW! What an incredible prize package, eh? So, you’re asking yourself…how do I win it? It’s very simple…
To be eligible to win:
1. Leave a comment in this thread between now and September 15th with your name, city, state, and what your favorite GHOST HUNTRESS book is and why.
2. Blog, Facebook, Tweet, etc. to tell friends about the book series and the new release and leave me a second comment for an extra chance to win. The more people reading the series, the better chance the series will continue.
It’s that simple!
Thanks for helping to spread the word and for reading about Kendall and the gang!
Hugs and happy hunting!

I bought the first 3 volumes for my granddaughter for Xmas … I decided to read them first and I was hooked! They’re great! I know these will make a perfect Xmas present as she is a 16 yr old with psychic abilities … she sees and talks to spirits, especially children.

My favorite book is this one, because it’s freeeee!
August 29th, 2010 at 12:47 pm
I checked out the first book, from the public library. When i started to read the first book, i became absolutely amazed with it because it shows the journey she has to go through to get the approval of her parents. My boyfriend has been organizing a Ghost hunting group for sometime now, i have never really been able to be apart of it, due to my parents not believing in that stuff and they don’t like me to stay out late. When i read these book, i get to experience the trill of Ghost hunting.

Hi Marley!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!! I just found out about this series and I’m desperate to get my hands on it!!!!!!!! It looks SOOOOOOOO good!!!!
I’m (currently) Lompoc, CA –I’m going to say The Counseling is my favorite, because beside it looking totally awesome, I worked at a camp outside of Yosemite and lived in the Sierras for around a year, so I’m especially excited to find out what kind of experiences Kendall has at her camp!!!!!
Also, I’m super-excited about the series, so I

Hi, Marley! Congratulations on another release, which I am sure will be amazing and thrilling, just like the other three in the series.
I am from Ansonia, Connecticut, and I have to say that the first one in the series is probably my number one favorite, with the third book coming in close second. I think that Ghost Huntress: The Awakening is my favorite because I can see and feel how Kendall is very skeptical of what she is hearing, seeing, and experiencing. I have never experienced anything that Kendall goes through, but if I were and I had someone like Loreen telling me what was going on, I would be just like Kendall. In that sense, it makes Kendall relate-able to everyone.
I love when Kendall dreams about Jason, then meets him face-to-face. I find it so amazing, and romantic, that she was just dreaming of what she thought was fact and impossible and it was actually reality.
In this book, I also like how people were so accepting of Kendall when she first arrived, psychic or not. The book also proved how looks could be deceiving. Here’s Celia, who looks like your typical science nerd that believes in all this ‘crazy’ stuff, but in actuality, she’s just basically a genius that enjoys the paranormal. Plus, her dad does own a famous store, so she’s rich, but not in a stuck up way. She uses her resources for good. Then, there’s Taylor. She looks like your typical southern belle; you know, your typical Barbie doll. But when you talk to her, she’s so sweet and caring. She’s nice to everyone, and learns to accept people for who they are. And, last but not least of our ghost huntresses, we have Rebecca. She looks like some goth chick that only know how to work with music. But, if you give her a chance, you’ll find that she’s great at using different methods for recording sounds, and then being able to listen.

I don’t have a particular favorite in this series. I love each one…. I like to “watch” Kendall grow as a character. I know how she feels because I was able to see ghosts as a teen as well. It’s nice to see that she has help in dealing with it(Loreen)… I didn’t and I wish I had had a Loreen in my life! I LOVE how she is using her gift to help others. I love these books so much that I’m usually finished with them a couple of hours after getting them in the mail. It’s so hard to wait for the next installment to come out!!!! September 1st is almost here though!!!!
p.s. if you win, does the cat come with the blanket????
lol
I facebooked: Kelly Peterson-Cupp if anyone needs a good series to read go check out the Ghost Huntress series!!!! It’s awesome!!!! I’m addicted. Can’t wait for the next one to come out!!!!

Marley,
My name is Jeff from Fredericksburg, VA. I have enjoyed all the books so far, but my favorite would have to be the original. The journey of discovery was so powerful and enjoyable at the same time. It served as an excellent foundation for the whole series.
I’m also posting the link on Facebook as well.

All of them are my favorite, but if i had to choose one it would be The Guidance because it shows the dangers of dabbling in something you don’t know anything about.
August 30th, 2010 at 9:31 am
Hi Marley,
I can’t chose a favorite because they’re all great. Though I’m partial to The Guidance, thus far. I’m an avid fan of Jason, Steve and Grant’s and was thrilled to see you’ve worked with them in the past. I live in Warwick RI.
Congrats on all your success. I’m going to post this on my blog!!!!

I found this series one day when I was chased out of the adult paperback sections at the local library. For some reason two employees thought to have a gab fest in a section I was browsing. No harm, just hate being bothered when I am getting my” Book Fix” So I went wondering through the YA section and started to look through and found the first book in the series and grabbed it. Got home with it, Read it and LOVED IT. So I placed holds on the next two in the series and have been hooked.
Book 3 The Reason. Kendell and Jason showed a lot of guts with breaking up and being friends. Then Kendell is ready to go the distance to go to camp for others like her. The relationship with Adopted mother has been great. Both working to help each other adjust to such major changes.
Love all the books and am looking forward to the next. I have managed to get my husband to read the series. He is totally into Ghost Hunting but is too timid of the unknown to actually do it.

I hadn’t hear of this series but boy am I glad I did. I get to read an enormous amount of YA books for two friends who teach upper middle school (they keep a library in their classrooms for their kids and can’t read everything that comes out) so I help (yeah, a terrible sacrifice isn’t it). I give them all my YA books after I read and review them to help keep their costs down. This series sounds very appropriate for for their age groups.

To be honest, I haven’t read your books yet but I really do plan to! I found the first one at the library yesterday (it has such an amazing cover that I couldn’t not pick it up) but this is such an amazing contest I couldn’t not enter it xD

I am entering for my daughter, Cassie. She loved the first two books and she is waiting for our library to get the third one in. We went to all the stores here in town and they do not have them. I told her that I would have to order them for her, but she wants to wait till the fourth one comes out and just order them all. This would be a wonderful treat for her, since she has been waiting……

My favorite book was The Awakening. Because it was awesome. So full of mystery, it had me sucked in for the start. It was very well written and had me guessing the whole way through. Every time I think I had it right, the twists proved me wrong.
