I think Ashley Greene should play the part. She would be perfect for it. I have already seen her great acting skills as cool, bubbly and spunky-hairstyled Alice on the Twilight series, so I’m quite sure that playing Kendall Moorehead will be portrayed perfectly by her.
The girl on the cover of the Ghosthuntress series would be perfect too, if ever knows how to act. I am a HUGE fan of the books and I was quite used to imagining her as my favorite book character Kendall Moorehead, I would be delighted if she can play the part in the movie.

I agree with Kath, the girl on the cover should play her, everytime I read the amazing Ghost Huntress books I imagine Kendall as the girl on the cover. Demi Lovato is one of my fave actresses so she would be amazing too.

To add, Victoria Justice to me is a comedian and likes to have her random times, Miley Cyrus is more of a serious actress like in “The Last Song.” Demi Lovato has a mysterious side to her and she is a very well actress (take it from a teenager haha.) Though I would still like to see the the cover girl of Ghost Huntress to play Kenadall.
